Best power supply my budget can buy..

Thread Starter
Well after a lot of dwelling on the AX850 I just decided I'd rather get a 1200w or something similar for my rig, since I'll be upgrading a lot of things, and adding beef to my rig. I've got a budget of 210 pounds for a PSU. That's 340 dollars, but is there really anything I can get for that price that'll be better for me than the AX1200? I'd like your opinion/thoughts, thanks a lot!

Hrm, not really. If you do need that much power, then the only alternatives are the Strider+1500w (which is above your budget a bit) the Enermax revolution 1250 which is arguably a bit worse and the TruPower Quattro 1200 which is starting to show its' age now.

+1 for the AX1200. That's what I would get. Corsair quality, modular, tons of connectors and 80+ Gold efficiency.

I would definitely get that over the AX1200.
