Firefox is having problems....

Thread Starter
Just installed my new rig.. And I've noticed something..

Adblock Plus is MUCH less effective than it used to be.. or perhaps I didn't choose the right filter? Help me out with this firstly!

Second, take a look at the weird SS's attached.. Why would I be getting these errors? I have seriously never gotten these before, unless it was a very sketchy site.

However, I'm just trying to access reputable websites..

Am I missing a plugin or something since my rig is new? Or what?

Because the date on your computer is set to 2005. SSL certificates are issued at certain dates between two time periods. When it is outside those time periods, it's generally out of date and needs to be renewed...but since your computers date is set to 2005 it's saying that the SSL certificate is not valid yet.

I mean it even says in the screenshots:

'The certificate will not be valid until 12/1/2010 7:02 AM'
