i7-2600 is a waste of money. OCed 2500K will demolish it for 2/3 of the price.

I have an alienware myself and I wouldn't buy another one. My disc drive is going bad in less than a year and it creaks like a sub par laptop. Build a better system

Hello! Did not read the whole thread, but I hope this helps if you have not come to a conclusion yet;

Best danish site for cutom and cheap computer builds, period.

They have a live chat, PM them when Monday comes, ask them all your questions - in danish. If they are as good as here in Norway, I wouldnt shop anywhere else. Seriously! It's much cheaper than any prebuilt Alienware computer, and AFAIK the same quality and support.

Any questions, please PM me!

In my experience Alienware is just normal hardware dressed up and then ridiculously overpriced. My friend had a small business. He used to build gaming computers for customers. Simply for fun he'd sometimes build systems to see if he could beat the prices of Alienware, which he always did by a great margin. I'd recommend you get your friend to buy the hardware and get you to build it for him.

Similar specs can be custom built for A LOT less. Even less if it's an AMD system.

Would this one be recommendable?

Well - Personally I would rather build a PC on my own - its much more bang for the buck .. Really.

But if your friend are willing to use that amount of money, and add another 20% for the brand "Alienware" .. then yes - he should buy one

I was under the impression that Alienware is a tabu nowadays...
I'd have no respect whatsoever for a guy who bought an Alienware just to brag about it's non-awesomeness.

Good good - and that PC you have assembled on komplett - seems solid .. You could probaly get it cheaper while buying the parts equal from www.edbpriser.dk and such, but it seems solid to me though
