How can you fit a waterblock on the non ref PCB of the TWFIII?

Unlock probability is very at the moment regardless of ref or non ref.

TWFIII has a FAR superior cooler with an 11C advantage over the ref cooling.

Also it will overclock much better due to structural enhancements and specially designed hardware as for example better VRM´s , better voltage controller , etc etc.

TWFIII is the better pick I took it too.

You just need to configure a good negative pressure airflow in your case with the TWFIII then you will have absolutely no problem and far superior performance/cooling than then any ref card could ever achieve.

The ONLY reason for you to consider ref design should be if you are willing to water cool!
were you able yo unlock your card?

thanks for your replies friends, really appreciate it ^^. But i wont be building this system till summer break, school and a new gaming pc o wont mix. at the end of june ill buy my system, then ill check prices again. the point was that most ref cards here are priced about the same here as the tf3, but this card was a 200 euto bargain, a price/perf ratio the tf3 cant match, and if the prices are like this when ill buy it i'll go for the ref card, but by then the card might be outof stock, and if ref and tf3 are priced the same i'll take the tf3 for shure

Most noobs make the mistake of just adapting an oppinion without actually informing themselves about it.

They hear "unlock" and how everybody is talking about it and automatically assume it is something extraordinary.

The unlock is a procedure which grants a 3-4% performance increase at most .
Also there have not been any long term studies and documentations about it yet meaning there could be possibilities of long term damage or unproper operation of the card involved.

The voiding of the warranty as soon as the BIOS is flashed regarding such means is certain though.

Most people will respond that you could just flash the BIOS back to normal if something goes wrong and you need to RMA so they wouldn´t suspect the unlock.

But those unfortunetly don´t know that there is a Log file implemented in every 6950 which documents any BIOS activity instantly.
And if the flash/unlock is detected RMA will be rejected immediately.

That is why I didn´t and won´t attempt to unlock my TWFIII CF.
The TWFIII is the best overclocker of all 6950´s by far.

This is the computer industry, and we are always looking for new ways to improve and modifiy our hardware.
But the overclock is still the best and safest way if done right to improve performance!

Sometimes you just gotta be old school
