The Corsair CX430 and CX430v2 can be had very cheaply. Get the v2 if it isn't too expensive, otherwise the CX430.

well I'm back up and running, my mate hooked me up with an old 500W PSU he just happend to have laying around.

everythings working ok

crisis over Maybe I'll get a proper PSU when I upgrade the Phenom 9600 as it's a bit long in the tooth now anyway.
