Up the Vcore.
Also, to test stability you can run blend but i suggest to run a game afterwards as it is my experience that i can run blend for a whole night but i can crash 1 hour into a game.
5GHz at 1.46v Vcore is a decent chip...

Why not joing my little club.. .

Ok, so i've gone with 4.5ghz at 1.3vcore...

Survived IBT/AVX at "High stress"

Going to run it in Prime95 small fft's for a few hours

Attachment 211676

You should really upgrade the cooler. 80 is too hot.

Also, that's a great batch you have. Do you know the batch number?

I most likely need to reseat the cooler with actual TIM (used the little plastic packet that came with the cooler )

Batch number is "L104A372"

I've never heard of that batch before but it looks like a good one.

Might be worth a shot, get a tube of MX-4 for $6 or something. lol

Woah, what happened?!? 4.8GHz at 1.26v to 4.5Ghz at 1.3v???

Also you should really upgrade your cooling, and until then I'd suggest dialing it back slightly.

Here is my system (temps) under as close to "full stress" as I could provide - I need more ram it seems.

[beginsarcasm]I can run 5.2GHz at 1.42v in Prime95 for 5 minutes, does that mean I'm stable? lol... [/endsarcasm]

Anyhow, 4.8@ 1.26 to 4.5 @ 1.3... Wow haha thats quite a jump

Temps running IBT/AVX, dialing it back till i can reseat the HDT HS with new TIM
post #30 of 41
Tempted to see if I can boot at 1.26v with 4.8ghz.
I run at 1.28v on 4.6ghz, 24/7 stable, I think my chip is slightly above average so if you can run a 12 hour blend at that happy days. Given that your chip looks like it may be a bit more impressive try using 1.24v for 4.6ghz and 12 hour blend, bare in mind that the lower the voltage the lower the temperatures so always try and keep voltage as low as possible for the clock.
