FINAL BUILD... plz comment (£2190~$3564) - Page 2

as far as SSDs go, a vertex or a Mushkin. I went with Mushkin because i like the brand and the support, and i love the thing.

for the rest of the build, it really doesnt look like much thought went into it... it looks like you just went for the most expensive parts. like do you really need a 580? maybe a 560 will hold you over until the next gens come out. that graphics card wont help with 3d modeling.

i know corsair is the staple as far as gaming memory, but i like mushin better like i said.

also, since you have a blu ray player, you may want a sound card. seems kind of pointless to have blu ray without badass sound. (sound card + receiver + 5.2 ss or 7.2 ss)

At first i was going for a much cheaper build... which included the 570 but after research i found that 580 are getting much better reviews ... less glitches and fantastic performance money isnt an issue =]...

and corsair was linked on a motherboard review i watched to be good compatability and no overclocking issues....

I spent quite a bit of time in the preperation for it....

In terms of sound i have the RAZER MEGLADON 7.1 surround headphones... i didn't think it was neccasery for a sound card the PC im on now doesnt have one and it works???

Great build, However, If you will be video editing and rendering, 1600mhz ram but a higher capacity would be better
ssd - not sure if its worth it
580 - do you REALLY? need one? a gtx480 can probably do find UNLESS you are doing alot of rendering

Yeh well i was gunna go for 4gb as a start point then couple of months after go for another 4gb rather then breaking the bank completely now.....

the 580, basically the story behind this is ive always had radeon cards and always had issues lots of issues along with not being able to max out most games (actually no games).... and i thought this time since im going with Nvidia i wanted to go all out... truely all out.... after looking around i found that the 580's are supposed to be the best for no glitches aswell as being incredibly powerfull... So even though i might not NEED it, i want it for piece of mind and even though it is extra cash, its one of the 3 components i said i would go all out on alongside the motherboard and processor.....

Thing im most worried about is compatibility with it being my first FULL build

Your new build will be absolutely compatiable(even with the gigabyte z68x ud7 I mentioned)
I would ask you to stick with gtx580 since it'll give you peace of mind, else you can grab a much more powerful hd6990 for only $110 more,
evga gtx580 3gb $589
hd6990 $699
Hope this helps.
