can you recommend a p67/z68 mobo?

Well as you probably know by now im looking for a new motherboard. I dont really care if its p67 or z68 as i here there both the same for OC'ing. Can you please recommend a motherboard to me that has 3 (if not 4) pci-e x16 slots that all operate at atleast x8 or will x4 be any slower for gaming? I'd also like it to have the front usb 3.0 headers (many motherboards do have those now however this is not essential) also with the uefi (i think thats what its called) new touch bios. thanks. also my budget is 275

why do you need three pci16 2.0, if you are planning to do crossfire you will need a way better board than that, it should fully support x16 on all lanes that will have a gpu on them; if you have some cards on the fast lanes and some on the slower then there will be extreme bottlenecking and you might have random errors

Are you saying the board you linked to (GB Z68 UD5) is a bad choice for crossfire?

That board is only good for dual card crossfire. There will be no bottlenecking so long as you use the x8 and x16 slots. Only when you use x4 bandwidth (tri-fire) or lower you start bottlenecking.

There's nothing we can do about it, it's just a chipset limitation.

The ASUS P8P67 PRO is also a great and very affordable motherboard.

I recommend ASRock P67 Extreme6 or the Asus P67 WS Revolution. ASRock is the daughter company of Asus. The WS Revolution doesn't have any mid-board USB 3.0 though (only on the back panel) if that matters. Both have the same number of VRMs. The WS Revolution can take quad CF and quad SLI (if it fits... it prob wont though). They're in different categories with the WS Revolution on one higher tier than the P67 Extreme6. I'd personally get the P67 and then just spend the rest of the money on something else (ie. better GPU). The difference between x16/x16 and x8/x8 is negligible at 1080p/1200p.
