The WS Revolution doesn't have any mid-board USB 3.0 though (only on the back panel) if that matters. Both have the same number of VRMs. The WS Revolution can take quad CF and quad SLI (if it fits... it prob wont though). They're in different categories with the WS Revolution on one higher tier than the P67 Extreme6. I'd personally get the P67 and then just spend the rest of the money on something else (ie. better GPU). The difference between x16/x16 and x8/x8 is negligible at 1080p/1200p.
I have SLI'd gtx570s and a gts250 in there. Easily pack a fourth in there.

Depending on the RAM, you could just remove the heatsinks on it.

I purchased 16 gigs of 1600 mhz GSkill ram (Ripjaws) and just popped mine off. The sticks themselves are solid black and gold, so it looks good.

RAM heatsinks are largely aesthetic, as long as your case has good air flow and you don't intend to do any RAM overclocking.

That board is only good for dual card crossfire. There will be no bottlenecking so long as you use the x8 and x16 slots. Only when you use x4 bandwidth (tri-fire) or lower you start bottlenecking.

There's nothing we can do about it, it's just a chipset limitation.
i was stating for tri fire, since he said he needed three slots, but i think he only want dos now
