I have a single rail ultra lsx single rail now. only bought it for the sli power draw of 2 460's.
Two 8800GTXs and all that would pull like 500W. Ultras might bump that to 550W; GT or GTS or GS would be much lower, down to 400W.

As for the Ultra, congrats on getting a mediocre half-bridge Andyson 600W unit from 2004.

Anyway, EA750 is a very solid power supply, very nice. The TR2 RX 750W violates ATX specs at 450W, so it's a piece of crap.

I've had the EA750W from Antec. It's one of the best power supplies i have ever had. I ran GTX 470 SLI and a i7 920 at 4Ghz with HT and it was asking me "So where is the 3rd GTX 470 then?" It's a good unit!

I did what you have all suggested, and what I knew I should have done in the first place. I installed the Antec and I have the thermal take in my car Right now so i can take it back to Frys.
