Gigabyte GTX 460 1GB Temp

Thread Starter
Hello ,
i have GTX 460 1gb SLI overclocked , in 3dmark vantage one of my cards riach 74-75 C at fan 100%, i know its not very dangerous temperature for the core but i dont like this cooler because its not touch the memory chips and shaders... so i used my finger to touch the chips and some of them is very hot. i care because there is only GPU temp monitoring available so what do you think , its ok for 24/7 use ?(BTW its 860/1065@v1.025) or i am playing with fire????

PIC OF THE COOLER:

my air flow is more then fine.

Thanks.

SLI does slightly increase the temperature by a margin. But the 74~75c you're reaching now is more than safe.

also one of my cards make some noise under full load, its like " peeeeee" a whining niose. its almost unnoticeable but its strange.
what do you think about that?!!
I get the whining noise as well, only on high voltages. It's the resonation of a capacitor on the board, should be fine.
