What part of a motherboard is this?

The long blue thing at the bottom. Is it like a handle that you can use to mount the mobo into the case? Is it ok to hold such a thing while mounting the mobo?

thats the mofset heatsink. you dont want to pull on it too much. hold the board by the edges as much as you can.

Don't grab onto PCI slots or Mofset heatsinks, grab the motherboard at the corners, and avoid touching anything but the edge if you can.

Dont see anything on the bottom. Unless you are talking about that thing in the picture that isn't really part of the MOBO

Yeah, definately don't want to be picking up the motherboard by the heatsinks.

So you know how too overclock but you don't know the parts of a motherboard?I suppose you have too learn somehow.Something tells me you're talking about the cable at the bottom of the pic.

Hello venom,

looking at the picture, its hard to see what you are trying to say. Most of the blue things you see on the motherboard are heatsinks that keep the motherboard cool. Theres heatsinks around the CPU socket, the blue bars you see. Theres also a blue bar right under the CPU (its says ultra durable on it) socket which is called the Northbridge. Then theres the blue ASUS brand that is like a square. That is the southbridge.

I hope that answer your question. Good Luck.

? I didn't buy a thing, i was wondering what part of the mobo it was, is all because i've watched videos of someone putting a motherboard in and using that as a sort of handle.
