Um, get him a nice 430w unit or a 500w and itll run his entire rig fine.

It all depends, You are saying that after 30 mins of gaming you having the system shutdown, IMHO, I would run Furmark for 2 hrs, and If it runs through that, then you should be in the clear, I agree with the people that said your GPUs are overheating that would cause a system to restart.

Also, Something I recommend, Try switching out the thermal paste and heat pads on the memory chips. I have found (with many GPU's I own Nvidia, or ATI) Manufacturers seem to use too much when they apply the coolers. I took my coolers off on my ATI Radeon HD 57**'s cards and replaced thermal paste with AS5 and got about 10*C difference on both cards!

Also the 200mm cooling fan will do wonders as well

Ok, Ill try running it for 2 hours but here it seems after switching the GPUs around it has made a big improvement. The GPU now tops out at 89c because it has more airflow.

Sorry about the very late reply guys. I'm happy to say the it was not a bad PSU but rather the GPUs were overheating because of their placement in the case and the fact that there was no air intake for the sli setup.

With an arrangement of the the GPUs and a new 200mm fan for intake, the temperatures dropped by 25c! No more overheating!

Thanks for all the information you guys. I appre ciate it.

regedit ->search RmLogonRc ->set it to 1
Reboot to make registry change permanent.

Now if it happens again go to event viewer. The nvidia driver will have made a entry why the pc switched of if it was due to lack of auxiliary power, thermal conditions, stress test etc etc
