Gigabyte GTX 460 1gb OC Issues

Thread Starter
I have noticed recently that when I play games for about a half an hour, my game screen starts to start artifacting or shutters. For example, when playing Need for Speed Shift 2 for about thirty minutes on max settings, my game will act as if the graphics card is not powerful enough, and the loading times would be much longer. THis does not happen at the Game menu but only in gameplay.frown.gif

I have read review that this GPU has had similar problems. But I am not sure if it is the GPU or CPU. Both are running at cool temps and I have the latest drivers installed so I dont know what the problem is? Does anybody know what I can do to fix this?confused.gif Thanks

If they're OC'd the OC likely isn't stable.

The card is factory overclocked to 715mhz. I even underclocked it to 680mhz but I am still having issues

I downloaded & flahed the bios on my GTX 460 OC & was able to turn fan speed up. Temps now stay around 50C - was thinking about OCing some more.
