u2311h eyefinity wallmounted

First off, many thanks to seven9st surfer here at OCN I saw his wallmounts and wanted the same! and used a similiar system

So I jumped to eyefinity a few months ago and have been pretty stoked.

As you can see no deskspace, looks like poo, etc, so I decided to wall mount them up. but I wanted something cheap and easy...

1/2" poplar. this will be the part attaching to monitor, and then go in a track that is mounted to the wall

and attached to the back

the track

countersunk all the screws so they wouldnt obstruct the channel

attached fabric to the back of the track, so it wouldnt take all the paint off the walls

track up, and looking pretty hagard

little test, and it works!

got all three of them up there, you can see the remnants of my top shelf I took down

mounts in place

sad monitor stands

The disgusting piece of machinery powering all this

windows up, the (current) finished project

Could have gone better but overall im pretty pleased
Im going to be putting a small shelf back up to put my pc back up above the monitors, instead of under my desk
Because of the size of the monitors and their distance away this flat panel actually feels convex, not the concave desired by eyefinity. So Im planning on angling the out displays in a bit. and I would also like to remove the bezels, anyone got any helpful info on that?
and of course when im done ill hide the wires completely
and its super nice having (6) usb ports right on my desk!
