how is the Coolermaster Silent Gold 1000watt

I currently have the Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875 and i want to the hell of it . I am kinda looking at the Coolermaster and Corsair. But i need help

im looking to get rid of the hunk of junk my budget is 200 bucks...


my current build is P67 sabertooth and i5 2500k i want enough watts so i could do overclocking and run 2 590's down the road

For corsair get the hx850 That will set you for many years to come and it being modular you can be super tidy too

Plus im sure it comes with a 7 year warranty (don't hold this against me)

yes it does come with 7 yrs.... but i mean how come asus website says 1000 watt for 2 580 and my setup..

also what is go for 2 560 no oc or anything

Ah you using one of those stupid watt calcs? ignore them

A Hx580 will be plently for your rig and 2x560

But if you want a 1000w a hx1000 would also go down nicely

although I may have to steal it from you

If you're going to get a 1000W unit I don't recommend getting the HX1000. But as was said, 850W is perfect for a dual GTX 580 build.
