Wanting an upgrade

Thread Starter
I want to upgrade my two video cards to a single video card that is better than the power of them combined. I want to just be using a singular video card, and try to keep the price under $300 please.

Hello Kuehlman,

I'd like to give you my opinion on upgrading your GPU. Honestly, in my opinion, I'd probably upgrade to a single 5870. In most comparisons that I've seen, the 5870 is up to par with the 5770CF in most games. I hope this input helps you make your decision. Good Luck!

for under $300 and better then duel 5770s i would get a 6950 2GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102929

or if you want best 6950 you can get then you want this one
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127575

both will be better then a crossfire 5770's and the MSI will OC higher then the Sapphire and stay cooler but the Sapphire will still be strong and still keeps it cooler then a stock cooler

Try and find an original reference HD 6950 and unlock its shaders and then overclock it. Best bang for the buck currently and its under $300.
