i5 650 3.6ghz temperature safe?

Thread Starter
i got now i5 650 3.6ghz but its constantly on turbo mode even when im not doing anything and using stock cooler which i know is **** and im planing to buy new better cooler
on bios is turbo mode on auto
and core voltage is constantly changing from 1.065-> 1.360

So i was overclocking using SMART 6 software from gigabyte..
my motherboard is 30-35°c
disk etc 30-35°c

when i'm not doing anything my cpu is around 39-45
when i'm playing games it goes around 50-62°c
is that safe?

i also noticed when i'm rendering my temperature goes damn high over 70°c
so i quiited with rendering videos etc..

im new here on forums

Thats pretty hot for a CPU considering that turbo is always on even on idle. It also depends on the games you are playing to, if it uses lots of CPU or not. I'd probably switched over to a better cooler or try lowering the overclock. Good luck.
