anyone know how thick he used?
1/4 inch thick. Anything thinner is too flimsy.

Man this build is AMAZING! I've always thought about doing a side like that, but never knew it'd look THAT good. U have made me consider this case for my watercooling build (currently have a rx240 for my cpu alone, but am going to upgrade to include my 570, so i'd need another rad). This case could support the rx240 and perhaps another ex240 or 360? (360 in top, 240 in the bottom?).

By the way, I thought perhaps magnets for the side panel??.. but that could wipe ure hard drives couldnt it? XD perhaps a realllllly bad idea biggrin.gif and what are the dimensions of the panel?

Thanks! I had always wanted a side window and it turned out better than I expected.

I could fit a 240 opposite the 360 in the bottom if I had a mind to cut on the other side. Since I removed the HDD cages, I bet there's also room for a 240 in the front or a 240 in the top without much modification. With the top exhaust fan removed, a 360 would fit up there nicely, but I like the top fan too much.

I'm about to order GPU waterblocks and post updates in the next couple of weeks (hopefully). If I need more radiator, I'll probably be putting a 240 in the front.

Magnets? You betcha. Some refrigerator magnets would have been perfect. You could even go the velcro route! However, I think screws look cleaner. I painted mine black, so you can't even see them unless you're up close.

First of all, I love the white and black theme. Everything looks great. biggrin.gif

I was wondering what paint you used to paint the AP-15s? Was there a lot of prepping involved, or is it fairly straightforward?

http://www.amazon.com/Krylon-K02518000-Plastic-Aerosol-12-Ounce/dp/B000GOV11M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1321930665&sr=8-2

Would this create a similar appearance to what you used? I've never painted anything before, so I don't really know how to approach painting them. I looked up how to take them apart, but I'd like some more input before I start buying paint, and jump in. I've only seen white AP-15's in one other build, and I can't find the log for it. Any tips or methods would be appreciated.

Sorry for the late response, I've had my machine in bits installing GPU water cooling! thumb.gifbiggrin.gifthumb.gif

I used the cheapest stuff from Lowe's for painting. Valspar is the brand. I don't know that it would really matter what you use, just do several light coats and give it plenty of time to dry in between.

Alright, I'll probably end up going with the Krylon Fusion once I find some AP-15's in stock anywhere. Thanks for the tips!
