Over the Thanksgiving holiday I finally added the XSPC GPU waterblocks to my loop. I am very impressed with the results. thumb.gif

applaud.gif My idle temps dropped from around 48C to an astounding 31C. applaud.gif

Idle Temps
*The first number is CPU, then GPU1, and GPU2. Using RealTemp and MSI Afterburner for temp readings.
tempsu.jpg

Those new temps are without adding any more radiators or pumps. I'm still using the XSPC X2O 750.

Here's the loop.

Res/Pump --> CPU --> GPU1 --> GPU2 --> Radiator --> and then back to the Res/Pump

I just went with the XSPC Rasa GPU waterblocks. I got both from Ebay for $40 each, which was a steal. I bought my ramsinks and fittings from Performance PCs.

Enzotech Ramsinks

The Blocks

Prepped
img2042av.jpg

Ramsinks installed
*So the top 3 ramsinks would not fit underneath the tubing, so I had to improvise. I cut a slot cover, attached thermal tape and a single ramsink to it and viola, heat dissipation. I left one tube disconnected so you could get a good view of my rigging. The slot cover is that chrome shiny thing covered in finger prints lol.

img2045i.jpg

Full Frontal
*A short tube between the 6950s was a little kinked for my liking, so I got creative with the run between them. It's probably not very efficient, but I hate hate hate those metal fittings where people have created a bridge with 90 degree angles and extenders.
img2046hg.jpg

Close-Up
img2047o.jpg

Light Grey Side Panel On
*I swear the tubing doesn't look orange, its my ****ty camera, lack of proper lighting, and an all orange room!

Lights Out
img2059y.jpg

Another with the lights on
*I really need to take some nice shots with a good camera.

That's not a 27' iMac, that's my 2nd monitor (mini DisplayPort cable is shipped!) wink.gif

I wanted something I could re-use in the future. That's really the only reason I didn't go full block.

I found out that the screws that hold in the mobo are also 6-32 and that the fractal define mini (Dads comp) had ALOT of spare screws in the baggie, so i managed to find a little oring (5mm diameter perhaps) to use as a spacer because the threads were JUST too long, works perfectly tho and acts like anti vibration aswell! biggrin.gif.

Just 1h into my leak test.... not happy -.- One of the EK 1/2 ID Barbs I bought had a 7mm thread length instead of the usual 5mm......
Didnt realise it at the time as there was only a 0.2mm gap or something TINY between the barb/oring and the 360 top mounted res, so when I had the pump going and the liquid going it was perfect, turned it off and all this liquid just started to seep out of the radiator..... so had to drain the entire loop, take it all apart just to swap that 1 barb out (luckily the GPU block i JUST got had some G1/4 spacers) which solved the problem.

Seems to be going good so far, but went thru pretty much a solid half box of tissues if not more to try and clean all that mess up.. got some on my GPU and soundcard too! frown.gif. Luckily I only had power on the pump (bridged the 24pin) so I've dried it all out but ill wait a day before I start it, + it's feser one ... "non-conductive...." XD.

Pics up in a couple days! biggrin.gif

I tried to use velcro to hold up the side panel of my system, which is also acrylic but it seems that the velcro isnt strong enough unless a large amount is used frown.gif
