So im at my girlfriends place and we decided to hook up a TV lying around and using a wireless mouse and keyboard.

My question is since we are using the TV via HDMI as the primary screen only to be extended to the laptop. is there a way to power off the laptop screen and just be able to use the TV for visuals?

Her laptop is a sony vaio with windows 7 64bit, radeon hd5450, i3 etc incase that is needed
