SupremeFX II problems with HDA on XP

Thread Starter
i recently had to wipe my computer, plus i had a lot of rubbish on here i didnt use, and i planned to reinstall vista but my activation code kept saying it was invalid. So i had to install XP instead, but now i dont have any sound as when i try install the drivers and soundmax controller for the sound card it says something like "HDA audio is need but not found".......ive tried looking over the internet for downloads but none of them have worked and i really want to get back to playing some games as its been about 4 days :/

any help for getting HDA audio on XP or anyone who has had similar problems and fixed them will be greatly appreciated.

make sure its enabled in the BIOS cause the SupremeFX is not a stand alone card its part of the mother board

also try to disable first Microsoft UAA bus driver for high definition audio: Right click on Computer – Manage - Device manager – System devices – Disable and uninstall Microsoft UAA bus driver for high definition audio. Install the FX2 audio driver
