How do you get 1440x900

I have a 19 inch monitor and i can not get the option to get 1440x900 on windows 7. I have a asus eah 6850 graphics card if that matters. Please help

have installed th vidoecards drivers? download them from AMD's website

Go to CCC, go to whatever display configuration tab you have there depending on the CCC version, and choose to disable EDID and set the max res at 1440x900 and the max refresh rate at 60hz. And now go to the desktop properties and set the resolution and refresh rate to 1440x900 @ 60hz
