iPod won't upgrade/restore to 4.3.3, not eligible for build (Not JB)

've got a 32gb IPT 4G and I've had it Jailbroken on 4.3.2 for sometime.

I tried to upgrade/JB to 4.3.3 with Pwnage but it keep saying that my iPod isn't eligible for the requested build.

So I restored the iPod back to default 4.3.2 and then tried to upgrade/restore to a default 4.3.3 but I'm still getting the same error.

Does anyone know whats going on? I thought this error only appeared when trying to downgrade to firmware versions Apple no longer sign

Have you got all your music backed up if so try resetting you ipod back to factory setting's and then try from there in.

Ok, giving it a go now.

I can't see that being an issue though as I just restored back to vanilla 4.3.2 with no issues

EDIT: Nope, didn't work

Sadly apple can be funky when it comes to restoring then upgrading again that's why im sticking with 4.3.2 untill they bring out a new ios for my 4th gen touch thats actually worth installing

That was my initial thought, however I'm going to get an iPad so I may sell my iPod, can't see it going well if I cant upgrade the firmware though

Worst case is just send them it back or give apple a call and ask them why its doing it.

Hopefully resetting it back to factory settings will cure the problem

Have you tried googling a download version of the iOS 4.3.3 and manually updating your ipod? I believe you can like shift right click or something and select an iOS version to update to.
Things may have changed from JB'ing the 2nd gen ipod touches.
