Do I return my H70?

Thread Starter
I bought an H70 off Amazon on the 5th May. However, a few days after I found the H80 is coming! I still haven't opened the H70, so I can return it (up until the 5th June).

Is it worth returning and getting a refund to get the H80... or are the differences between the H70/80 so small it isn't worth the hassle?

Cheers

If im correct, the H80 will have a better pump. Ide say return it and get the H80.

I'll be honest in that I really don't care much about overclocking or whatever so i'm not looking for the last word in performance. What I do care about is getting the best for my money and so I was a bit miffed when they announced a new product straight after I bought the H70!

Are there any official release dates on when we might actually see the H80 and H1000?

Sorry for the double post... but epic win Amazon

They provided me with a free postage returns label, so I don't even have to pay for it to go back! Well played Amazon, you have always exceeded expectations!

performance comes from overclocking, H70 will keep any CPU cool enough for some great overclocking. It's your call, but it's only meant to keep it cooler than the stock cooler (which should be fine for stock clocks, not overclocking)
Shhh!

Don't get me wrong, I have my i7 920 @ 4.0ghz, but i'm not the person who needs every last inch of performance. I just stuck it at 4.0ghz first time round and never tried to put it further as I have no need to. I'd rather have a stable PC and not spend ages fiddling!

Because postage is free, I am just going to send it back
