When I try to pull up Yahoo or log into my yahoo mail, FF4 will sit and spin for over 10 seconds with the, "Waiting for l.yimg.com," at the bottom-left of the browser.

I think I may have finally figured out this issue, and it appears to be an issue more related to Firefox than other browsers, and appears to be OS and PC independent (multiple platforms, and OS have the issue).

I stumbled across an Ubuntu post where someone said to change the MTU from 1500 to 1492. I set both settings on my PC and didn't notice any difference. I then wondered if my DSL modem was the issue. Its MTU was set to 1492, so I changed it to 1500 and now Yahoo loads almost instantly!

I would venture to say that if this problem is occurring, and the MTU is 1500, changing it to 1492 may help as well.

I just tried Netflix, annoyed because the movie description used to take so long to load, and they are instant now too.
