RIFT low FPS? - Page 2

Dial down the flora generation to, like, 3. Huge boost in FPS and actually makes the game look better, since it's generating fewer non-collidable poorly-textured invariable plants.

That pic is 1280x1024 and it doesn't even look like its downscaled. That's no where near 1920x1080's stress =P

1280x1024: 1310720 Pixels
1920x1080: 2073600 Pixels

Nearly double the amount of space to render.

I wonder if it is a crossfire isssue?

It is amazingly smooth on my rig, I leave vsync on to reduce gpu load and temps but it never drops under 60 and thats with everything on max.

I run it on my linux laptop as well but only in low graphics mode.

It must have been that monitor. I just hooked it up to a different monitor thats 1080p (checked and made sure it was 1920x1080 setting like you said) and still getting 60+FPS.

must be your screen cause my shows 1080. guess its time for you to upgrade...
Plus that doesnt even make sense I went from 1200 to 1600 and made no difference in FPS. I seriously doubt 300 is gonna drop it from 80 to "45+". Dont be mad cause im doubling you in FPS at max setting.

Except I'm on a Dell IPS Monitor =P Only true upgrade for me is to spend the $1000 on Dell's 27" IPS or get two more U2311H's for Eyefinity

There's your screenshot lol
