Dual GTX 460 or 1 is fin for now?

Hello, Im here again because you guys are awesome, and pretty much know more stuff then I do and on top of that, you are always super helpful.

So here is my question; Right now Im using a single GTX 460 1 gig HAWK @ 890 core no voltages added.

Teamed with my i5 2500k @ 4.5 I have no problems maxing games on my 24 inch 1950x1050 resolution(I think its something like that atleast haha)

So basically, what I'm saying is, do I need another 460, or right now it's ok and I should wait for a newer card or wait for price reduction etc

I'm playing recent games like homefront, The Wither 2 , Crysis 2 and BFBC2.

Thanks again in advance!

One 460 is "enough" but 2 is better All those little frame dips and "hitches" in your games will disappear. Games went from mostly smooth to perfectly smooth for me. My old average frame rate became my new minimum frame rate.

If you can afford it, and don't mind the heat/power consumption, do it.

Performance boost is great and you wont regret it. I would see if you can snag a cheap one from here or try for an open box from newegg if you would like to save some money.

Just fyi, witcher 2 is having problems with multi gpu scaling. They might have fixed it for nvidia but i know they havent for AMDs

I had a Gigabyte GTX 460 OC 1GB before and was running fine those games on full HD 1920x1080 never tried Metro 2033 but that is a vey hard game for most graphic cards to run on full settings...
