Gigabyte Z68X-UD3P...Moveable Mosfets!?

I was about to install my Z68X-UD3P until I had noticed that the mosfets (held by push-pins) are able to move in both directions with the slightest push. I can push the mosfets about 1/16" in both directions. Is this normal? Should I take it back to exchange it for another 1?

That sounds like the heatsinks, and not the actual vrms. You're ok.

Yes! The heatsinks over the vrms. I am a little worried about that cuz when I give a little push to the heatsinks over the vrm on my 750i mobo, it does not even budge.

So I should not be worried about anything...right?

You have nothing to be worried about, thats how heatsinks are these days.

Thanks for the comfort fellas Just found an article review about the P67-UD4 and they were saying the same thing about that mobo. Whew! For a second I was about to get pissy over this cuz I do not feel like driving for an 1 1/2 hrs to exchange this.

+Rep for you 3
