Computer does not beep and does not display?

Thread Starter 
It was working fine, then i went to shutdown PC, it stayed on the Shutdown screen for too long, so i went and reset it manually from button on case..from then it doesnt display on my screen nor does it beep...Does anyone know what the problem is?

Anything to do with me unlocking the 4th core on my CPu, Although its been like 3 months??!!

Would appreciate any help, oh and im a computer noob really, so easy on me wiht the technical stuff, thanks

Try resetting your CMOS.

Incase you don't know how, there should be a small battery on your motherboard, looks like a watch battery. Take it out for 10 seconds then put it back in and try turning your pc on again.

you'll loose all the changes youve made in your BIOS mind. But I think its worth it if your pc is completely dead

No POST and no beeps? Reset CMOS, then right after that, put in your RAM settings, save and exit. See if it does the same thing. If it does, your board/cpu doesn't like your memory.

oh man i tried removing the CMOS battery, put it back it, but still no beep at start-up and no display to screen
