Thread Starter
For my new pc I was looking at this monitor, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...=ASUS%20ML228H. Any suggestions or feedback from someone that might have this monitor.

I will be using it with a gtx 570 at 1920x1080.

I would go for the ASUS ML248H it goes around 200 or the Viewsonic VX2453mh-LED also around that price. You might look at the ASUS VH238H aswell its going for 179.99

If your open for anything then grab a 120hz monitor. But they are going around 350 and up.

FYI, the 23" version of the monitor you're looking at is on sale right now for $170 with coupon code EMCKEHF47: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-24236122-L09C

What is the difference between the monitor I wanted to buy and a 120hz monitor?

I believe this is has a 75Hz refresh rate, so the difference would be 45Hz.

In real world terms, you'll get less ghosting, artifiacts, whatever, with a higher refresh rate. If you can find a similarly priced 120Hz monitor, then go for it.
