first, what is your cpu/nb voltage? Also, how r u OC'ing? Are you just using the multi? It may not like your high multi. Also what is your CPU/NB speed running at along with your HT?

Truth be told, i think it's rebooting because of lack of CPU voltage, but you said your temps are high 50's?? If they are already at high 50's.. i truthfully don't recommend oc'ing much....

just a note that for my cpu, 3.6 failed as both an x3 and an x4.
Yes, I'm using just the muliti.
NB speed i left at stock but I'll check tonight. It might be on the screen shots that I posted.

You will be lucky to get there with the unlocked 720BE

Also in that pic you posted TMPIN 1 is your cpu socket temp and it's 63 degrees, I would suggest that you leave it at stock when unlocked.

I had the same chip and I still use the same Mobo.

clean up your fan blades, attempt some cable management, reseat your cooler. you should not have any where near 40* unlocked with less than 1.4v . im using 1.475 right now on an unlocked at 3.4 pushing 34*
you wont hit 3.6-3.7 without major voltage to the cpu in 98% of the 720 chips that can make it to/over 3.6
ive heard most all zalman coolers are complete crap on an amd for the money you spend.
if you reseat your cooler and clean up your case and your temps dont drop, lock it to an x3 and find your highest clock using only the multiplier. after that, get your nb up to 2600-2700 then find your max overclock again. i wouldnt bother going over 1.488v. i doubt you will see enough of an increase in speed compared to the voltage and heat.
find both max cpu overclocks then find a good reference clock speed to match a multi to get back to your max overclock on both cpu and nb
the 720's are c2 and usually run cool as a cucumber when locked. unfortunately the c2 revision 720 doesnt oc for crap from what ive seen, read and experienced.
ive been trying for almost a year to get past 3.4 unlocked and with less than 1.475 volts on win 7 64bit. yes it makes a difference. my 720 LOVES 32bit but 64bit doesnt oc for crap.

good luck man.

Well I'm running prime for about 1/2 hour right now. I couldn't take off the zalman cooler. Felt like i was goinmg to break something. The bracket doesn't seem to loosen up at all.

I believe my muilty is at 17 3415 gh. vcore 1.4
nb is stock right now.

Temps are - tmpino0 40 tmpin1 66 tmpin2 55.

Is that too high? I'm about to raise my NB up a little bit.

Actually, i think that I'm just going to up the voltage a tiny bit and run my chip at 3.0 unlocked.
I don't like those temps so I'll probably just get a better cooler later on or go water. Which I'm really considering at the moment. Thanks for the help though folks.
+ rep to all who helped out.

if temp0 is your cpu temp, you can up your volts a lil without adding much heat.
have you tried an unlocked 3.2 ? you should be able to hit 3.2 24 hours prime stable with no more than 1.42v on the cpu. actually you should get 3.2 a bump over stock voltage(1.4v or less) if its a good stable unlocked chip.
you should be able to hit 2600(minimum 2400) on stock cpu-nb volts.
