have you tried an unlocked 3.2 ? you should be able to hit 3.2 24 hours prime stable with no more than 1.42v on the cpu. actually you should get 3.2 a bump over stock voltage(1.4v or less) if its a good stable unlocked chip.
you should be able to hit 2600(minimum 2400) on stock cpu-nb volts.
i might just try that. id hate to run this chip at stock.
Last night I opened the case on my haf and my temps dropped . I'll see if i get a chance to work on it tonight after i get off from school.

If opening your case dropped your temps it sounds like you have air flow problems. try some cable management and make sure your fans are taking air in from the front and bottom and exhausting out the back and the top.

i just received the psu for my friends rig today and installed everything, os isnt installed yet but just went into bios and enabled core unlocker and it worked off the bat, my only worry is that this cant be 6 core cpu could it.
in the bios it lists core 1-5 lock/ unlock im just confused, will take pic and show

it said core 1 2 3 before unlocking, then core 1 2 3 4 5 after but only comes up as 4 cores. ive got a fully unlocked quad stable at 3.4 ghz at 1.3 volts, will try go lower
