Best headset and sound card combo under $130?

Thread Starter
I have the logitech G930 wireless gaming headset but it stopped working. I can either get another one or a new sound card and a wired headset.

I am looking for a nice headset and sound card combo under $130, and the budget is extremely strict, so not even a dollar over.

I will be using my speakers and the headset with the sound card.

What would you guys recommend? I listen to a lot of melodic death metal and play a lot of games.

IMO, you should buy AD700s + Xonar DG + Clip on mic.

All of that is 130 dollars or less.

You can even try to find a used Xonar DX on headfi for 40 dollars. Up to you.

The AD700s are great gaming headphones with a large sound stage and are also very good at keeping up with speedy music and crisp highs which melodic death metal is known for (depending on which artists you listen to of course. I myself listen to Gothic Metal and at times Melodic Death Metal).

Still, check out the links in my sig for more information on audio equipment etc.
