Some crazy cloud coverage! - Page 2

Those are nice pics. Unfortunately here in north central Texas pics like that are becoming normal here in the last couple months. It sucks. We need a bunch of rain but not all the hail and 70mph winds that come with it.

Are you sure no Martians where in those clouds... ie "War of the Worlds"?

Fantastic shots BTW!

I was in Texas about 8 years ago doing a moving job, middle of hurricane season, all I recall is some crazy weather from Pensacola to Austin or Dallas driving along the coast line.

Nice shots. We have been recieving a lot of unusual weather this year so watch your self with these storms rolling in as of late. Reminds me of the old days when things hit with no warning at all.

Amazing stuff Twisted -- what are you shooting with? Have you signed in over @ the OCN Camera Thread?

Would have been epic to see some of these in motion, too bad there's no video. That being said, if these were anything like the storms that tore across MO yesterday, then I'd probably feel lucky to be alive.

Thanks, Using
Rebel XSI EOS.
Tamron AF 18-270mm Macro.

Nah, I haven't yet.

I believe right after the xsi model they rolled out newer models with vid record, otherwise, most definitely they would have been recorded.

Not as bad, lost power for a few hours, few downed trees, but nothing like what they have experienced.
