[Official] Gigabyte GA-990FXA-Series Owners Thread/Club - Page 100

Have a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 board and Windows XP Pro 64bit OS and have tried Windows 7 64bit...
both times it showed all 4Gb of ram.
Now after a bios update it shows only 3.99Gb out of 4Gb.....
Anyone have any idea why?

It's a strange issue for sure, but probably not one that will make any difference to your performance Personally I'd be content with thinking it's just a random quirk and then forget about it.
