I almost ready to purchase a Sager NP5165 from XoticPC but I cruise to iBUYPOWER.com for a sec and see a new laptop. The Battalion 101 CZ-12 laptop. I configured them both to have similar components. Both have i7 2630QM, 4GB RAMM 1333MHz, 320GB 7200RPM HDD.

Different components: CZ-12 has 2GB GT 540M while NP5165 has 2GB GT 555M

Its just that the CZ-12 is only $1064 configured with that with Windows 7 HP AND Office 2010 while the Sager is $1166.91 with that with Windows 7 HP and Office 2010. Can someone convince me on the Sager?

Here are the laptops: CZ-12 Sager NP5165

After looking at the benchmarks, I don't want to see the GT 540M. Thanks.

EDIT: Just saw the GT 540M benchmarks, eww.

Me and my brother both had iBuyPower laptops (same configuration) and cost about $1200 each. They lasted roughly a year and a half before they burned out. His GPU and my mobo. Although I do not suspect w problem with part quality, I believe that the heat exchange system was not very good. Spend the extra $100 for something that has a pedigree. In my experience, anything you buy (computers double so) you get what you pay for.

Ok, thanks for the convincing. The GT 555M benchmarks seem very good, they even use a i5 2410M while I have the i7 2630QM selected. Not sure what HDD they have though.

I wish there was a GTA 4 benchmark for the GT 555M, or a Halo 2 one since thats what I'm basically going to be playing.
