ok so i finally got stable 4.08ghz stable cpu oc, my gpu is stable so i moved to ram wich are g.skill ripjaw 2x2gb 1600mhz 9-9-9-24-33(stock) and played alot but couldnt get any better then 9-9-9-22-31-1t, any advice? i know its know that much lowering to 8-8-8(maxmem2 give me 1ns difference in latency but 200mb in writing/reading) and i have no way in my bios to raise ram voltage i can only play with nb and cpu volt.

and what you think of my stable oc, could i get better
240fsb*17 @1.5v
nb is at 2200mhz 1.25v
ht@1600mhz(=1920 in cpuz)

does your ram at stock run 2t or 1t? really, the difference in timings is negligible unless youre going to be benching...

you can probably raise your ht a little. usually anywhere between 2000 and 2100 will get you the most speed while still being stable. thats a good overclock on an unlocked chip!

the fsb controls everything. the higer you raise the fsb, the ram, nb, ht, and cpu will all go up. there should be multipliers on the nb, cpu, and ht and a divider on the memory to control each individual component from there.

http://www.overclock.net/amd-general...rclocking.html

that guide should help you. the fact that the core is unlocked might diminish your overclocking a bit.

Great thx. Ive managed to get this stable:
236x17@1.5v,ht @ 1896, nb freq @ 2607 wich set my ram freq @790 with manual 8-8-8-22-30-1t timing. Im pretty much satisfied but im sure i can get more. I tried everything and couldnt get a higher stable fsb, because ive noticed that putting my fsb at 240 it set my dram freq at 800(now its at 790) and that 10 mhz more give 200mb/s difference in ram bench wich i would like to go get. Any idea? Nb volt? Ram timing? Cpu volt? I rly dont know what to adjust to get 4ghz cpu and 1600mhz ram
