I agree with the Asus, but I'd go with this monitor instead of the one previously posted: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236059

2ms response time and it's great. I've been using it for a while now and it hasn't failed me yet! smile.gif

Why Asus hands down? Asus doesn't even make monitors, so everything they're selling was made by someone else. Don't get me wrong, they sell some great ones, but the manufacturers they use also sell monitors under their own name. I'm just curious why you're so sold on having the Asus tag printed on it.

hands down. best bang for your buck is Asus. I would buy a Hannis G, Samsung or LG. Dell makes some super sick high end monitors. I have a sony right now. But for this $200 WoW. monitor. Asus is the way to go for him

To be completly honest I would just say look for deals that almost randomly pop up. For example I bought my current acer monitor that is 21.5" for 120 when staples had a crzy deal. It is all about what is on sale for monitors in my opinion.

U like the glossy stuff huh. Nice monitors, for under $200. But look for one with 2ms response time. Its not really noticeable, but its a bit better than 5ms lol
