We have so many guides for countless reasons...
The different amount of programs you can fold under and monitor is rather large, I have the basic ones supported by Stanford in my signature.
In the essentials sticky we have them all and you can go through if you like and its rather organized.

It wasn't that organized being a trial run so yes, I apologize for the mess ups.
The limit on the channel wasn't our fault and it wont happen again.

Not sure what you mean, cause I was speaking in the chat room.
Thanks.

I was trying to give you guys as much feedback from a new folder perspective, and why I never got into it in the first place.

I understand that there are many guides for many reasons. But when you're new and just want to get started, the whole thing feels daunting. To kinda put things in perspective... I have a Business Marketing Degree, I also have my A+ and my MCSE. All those took a lot of work to attain, and even for me getting started in folding felt like it was a lot work, so I never bothered with it.

I just think that there needs to be a simple newbie guide that new people can easily start with. That guide will lead them to the more advanced guides.

Overall I wasn't trying to criticize you guys, but rather give you honest feedback, on improvements that can be made for next year. As well as give you an idea of where the newbie folders are coming from, and making it easier for them to get started.

We can only simplify guides so much without skipping on details you need to fold properly.
The v6 CPU guides are a little on the tough side, but that is why they are trying to get v7 out of beta so its easier for new folders.

If you have any suggestions for the guides, just post in the threads where its made and we can adjust it so its more user friendly.

When BFRD gets around to it I'm guessing. I think z has already sent off the list, but I could be wrong.

If it wasn't sent already it will be sent by tomorrow since nothing is going on, and today was a busy day.

No, it isn't that fast.
Once the list is sent we have to give time for BFRD to add it to the 700+ people which takes a while to do and isn't a fun task I can assume.

Put it this way, this year is making me want to start folding 24/7 just for a month to see if I can afford to.
