Interesting thing is the amount of calories that's different between the control and test groups:

I drink cup after cup of water while I'm working or playing on a PC. Probably good for me... Though I know people who do want to eat while they play games and do so a lot.

i hate eating when im gaming. i lose focus on my gaming and more on food so i dont play so well, maybe the teens they tested were playing the sims or something.

LOL. Everyone here needs to do some looking into IIFYM (If it fits your macros). You need a good deal of fats carbs and protein daily, I really don't get why people listen so much to studies done in the 60's that are taken completely out of context. I said it already, but eating a high fat diet wont make you fat, eating more calories in a day than you require, no matter what kind they are, will make you gain fat.

I eat very little in the way of carbs, and I'm fine, so please tell me why do I need a good deal of them? Eating carbs tells your body to store fat. So if you eat carbs in excess and eat them with fat, you'll get fat. It wont help anything if you eat excessive amounts of either though.

As for the study, if gamers were eating healthy to begin with they wouldn't need to binge on snacks while they play.
