I would have thought that the extra ram will help in 1080p, that is why I recommended a 1gb model. Am I wrong in thinking that?

I would say regardless of what card you get make sure it is 1gb atleast.

EDIT: Lowest I could find on newegg was for $140 after rebate for a GTX 460 1gb model. This one to be exact. EVGA GeForce GTX 460 1GB 256-bit GDDR5

$126.99 after rebate. ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 IIRC Zotac has lifetime warranty and before any bashes it, it is a good-ish brand.
