2600K overclock, voltage and temps you get

Currently kinda wonky on my 2600K

I did 1.280 volts at 4.5ghz, temps reached 71-72C max with my Zalman 9900 max

With 1.225 volts and 4.1ghz temps reach 60-61C max

Is this high or is this normal temps?

Also, what is your temps, overclock and voltage you use for it?

I'm just wondering if its silly to own a P67 Sabertooth, and never stress the thing higher then a stock voltage overclock

Eh. Those are a bit higher than what I would like. But then again, that isn't the greatest cooler now a days. So those look fine for that cooler and that OC.

Im hitting about the same temps at the same voltage you are But when my AC is on, I can drop 5c. What are your ambients?

Your temps for the 4.5GHz are high.

My full load temps are 61-63C (ambient at around 25).

Might want to consider reapplying some thermal paste or even better, get a new cooler.

I did re-set the cooler

Now I can do 1.290 volts at 4.5ghz and only hit 62C tops

EDIT: Since the re-seat and doing around 10 hours of Linpack, my temps have further and further decreased, now my idle temps are 6C cooler then normal, some cores even hit 22C at times while mobo temp has remained constant over the last 4 days at 23C
