GPU causing system lock up. How can I fix this?

It only happens when I am gaming... I thought it was because my OC wasn't stable, but now my GPU seems to restart my PC about 10 minutes into a game I am playing... This is really starting to get annoying.

Is this a driver or a GPU issue? Could it also be a PSU issue and that my card is not getting enough power? I did not have this problem with my 5770.

To be honest, this card acts really weird anyway. When I start up my PC, the fans go up to 100% under I start MSI Afterburner... Again, Driver or GPU issue?

Could it really be a driver issue? Is there something wrong with 11.5 drivers?

Does it do this even at stock settings?

if u got the latest version of msi AB and 11.5 drivers?

its one of those. with my 1000mhz OC. MSI AB is not applying the amount of volts i want for the card. in my case its 1.25, bit it applies 1.17 in 3d mode. i dont know if its msi ab or the drivers causing this. im too lazy to install/uninstall different drivers, because im not gaming much.

Yeah I noticed this last night. Had to up volts just to get the one I wanted. 1.2, is like 1.18.

check the event log in windows to see what happened just before the crash. Try different drivers or if possible a different gpu. Start eliminating variables
