How many mice have you gone through trying to find the perfect mouse for you? And which mouse did you end up with?

I've had
Razer copperhead Horrible sensor, but I did like the shape

Razer deathadder 1800dpi PERFECT sensor, but too slippery sides and bulky

Razer deathadder 3500dpi PERFECT sensor, but too slippery sides and bulky

Razer deathadder black edition PERFECT sensor but bulky

Razer diamondback 3g PERFECT sensor, GREAT shape, not so good scrollwheel and
can't get more than 125hz

Razer lachesis Horrible shape, Horrible Sensor, the buttons felt great though

Razer mamba Good sensor but bulky

Razer salmosa PERFECT sensor, uncomfortable shape and no side buttons

Razer pro click notebook Not really a gaming mouse

Razer Boomslang 2007 CE PERFECT sensor, PERFECT mouse 1+2 buttons, good shape but bulky, heavy and side buttons too easy to press

Microsoft IME 3.0 Good sensor bu too bulky and heavy

Microsoft IME 4.0 Horrible all

Logitech mx510 I never played as bad as I did with this mouse

Logitech g9x Great sensor, slighty heavy, not so comfortable for the pinky and little
finger

Fatal1ty 1010 Lovely shape, bad sensor, horrible idea with the weights that rattles

A4tech 750 For what it cost me its not bad, but not a good sensor, and not
confortable for the pinky and little finger

Steelseries ikari laser ok sensor, nice shape but bulky and heavy

Steelseries ikari optical good sensor, nice shape but bulky and heavy. And the buttons start double clicking

Steelseries kinzu HORRIBLE SENSOR, software and mousefeet. Otherwise great shape and build quality

Steelseries xai Good sensor, Good shape, Great build quality, side buttons hard to press, and button 1+2 a little too hard for my liking

Roccat kone ok sensor but very bulky

Roccat kone+ good sensor, ok shape, PERFECT scrollwheel, great software but bulky and HORRIBLE coating

Cm storm spawn PERFECT shape, PERFECT sensor, PERFECT weight GREAT scrollwheel but not so great software that freezes up, side buttons seems to have some delay and 800dpi is not working proberly

Mionix naos 3200 PERFECT palm grip shape, great sensor, great build quality, lightweight but slighty bulky

Out of all those I ended up with the cm storm spawn

Logitech MX518 Used for four and a half years, Junk boxed on account of wear.

Logitech G5 Junk boxed two of them on account of a laughable perfect control speed.

Logitech G500 Junk boxed two of them on account of positive accel on all surfaces and negative accel on cloth pads.

Microsoft IMO Junk boxed on account of I want/need more than 400DPI

Razer Imperator Returned on account of click jitter and the lift bug.

Razer Deathadder 3G Junk boxed on account of the wheel wearing out after around 4 months of use.

Razer Deathadder 3.5G Returned on account of refusing to pay for a brand new mouse and have its plastic belly drag on all surfaces. Contacted razer and gave them two choices, send me a set of feet so I can double them up or I return the mouse for a full refund. A couple days later I got a response with a link to their website selling 2 sets of mouse feet for $20 + shipping. Returned, GG razer.

Razer Abyssus Bought two. The first one jittered like crazy so I immediately returned it. I later bought a second one with a goliathus speed in hopes of jitter free tracking.... It still jittered. I kept the second one for three or so weeks while using it on a hard pad and the sensor just died. So that one got returned for a refund too.

Razer Salmosa Asian Edition Donated to the GF on account of it being WAY too small.

Steelseries Kinzu Returned to steelseries and upgraded to the Xai on account of well, everything bad a sensor can possible do other than dying. Lots of positive accel, Lots of prediction and a malfunction speed around that of a WMO.

Steelseries Xai Stuck using this. Everything is wonderful about the mouse besides its sensor which has the same flaws as the G500 (SHOCKING). very high build quality.

CM storm Sentinel Junk boxed on account of its awful PTE sensor that click jitters, drops to the basement when lifting and has a hard time tracking on hard pads to the point where there is a delay after you lift and reposition.

Zowie EC2 Returned on account of a very high lift off distance and jitter. I doubt it would have jittered if the morons at zowie would just use a regular red LED instead of trying to be cool kids with their UV crap LED.

Still haven't found anything so I wont add to the poll. I'm stuck using a Xai atm. The Valor is next on the list whenever they decide to actually ship it to me.

Corded Ball Mouse From A Dell

Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse

Mionix Naos 5000

I love this mouse, though I may need to get a hard surface mouse pad pretty soon here.

I've gone through all the mice that derp has aside from the Zowie EC2,Salmosa Asian Edition and CM Storm. Its usually been about the comfort that Im after as none of the mices really had any major tracking differences with my experience aside from some mices having really faster movement despite the same dpi settings.

In terms of comfort the G9/G9x still tops my list, I also have the valor pre-ordered.
I have a few more that derp didnt mention;
Razer Mamba
MS X8
Some random A4tech mouse-es
G700
G7
MX500

I've had a few, im currently using the Razer Abyssus, and i like it, Im not one for a lot of gimmiky buttons on the mouse etc, i want good accuracy and comfort, this has both which suits me for gaming.

Think I'm lucky... only three although, I'm also quite new to enthusiast computing.

1. super cheap, generic rollerball

2. Razer Imperator - nice mouse but I didn't like the shape.

3. A4Tech X7 - awesome. Like it was designed for my hand. Perfect weight, shape, DPI etc. I've bought a 2nd for when / if this one breaks. It's going strong after 18 months though. Not too many buttons (5) including a 2x button (press once, fire two shots when gaming) and on-the-fly DPI adjustment.
