Same Thunda.

A good sensor in the epic kinzu shape with teflon feet. AKA what the kinzu COULD have and SHOULD have been. Its almost as if Steelseries doesn't want the business or something...

i was luckily enough to try out many mice on lans, so i found my perfect mouse on ime 3.0 (lightweight, epic shape, the sensor has an unique feeling and lod) without spending too much money.
mouse i own:
Deathadder(bad shape, weight, materials and lod, i use it when i play on more than 800*600 and for common desktop use)
ime 3.0
mice i owned:
logitech lx3000(epic shape even if ambidextrus, horrible wireless sensor)
lachesis (my first gaming mouse. it broke after 2 weeks and the shape was horrible)
mice i tried and i didnt like:
mx518 (OVAL SHAPE lal)
g5
g9
wmo
xai
sidewinter

i hope in the valor since it has something similar to my old logitech that i love and has a great sensor. i want to try out the mionix 3200 but i have no money

In order of ownage...

1)MS ball mouse It was a ball and got retired when optical came out.
2)MS Optical meh...but it was optical so it was better than the Ball...in some ways, didn't care for the placement of the 5th button.
3)MWO1.1Similar to the first optical but it had two more buttons....oooohhhhhh
4)[b]MSIE 3.0[b]Great mouse not sure why I moved on...
5)MSIE 4.0 Crap
6)Logitech5 button mouse(can't remember the model) Crappy software
7)[b]Logitech MX700(?) Wireless crap, disconnections, bad battery life, lag, crappy software.
8)Razar/MS Habu Crappy software, died after over a years use...both of them.
9)MS Sidewainder X5 Decent mouse. Love the thumb button placement. Would continue using if it didn't have problems with my Func F series rough pad.
10)MSIE 3.0 new version Crappy buttons.
11)MS Sidewainder X8 Best mouse yet. No cons for me.

I was always leery of "gaming" mice after the Razar. When my kids get their new "gaming" mice, I'll see what the hype all about.

Here's a pic of the three MSIE 3.0 I had...

I can't remember if I got the black one before I got the dark grey one...but the light grey was the original.

*I voted "5-10" but after making the list...I guess I'm 10-15. Sorry.

Mx518 - Makes me sweat alot, and the tracking was really great, but it was alittle strange to me always, when making a quick switch I got kinda of Resistance and it was be hard to control, need to get used..but It just was uncomfort [in term of playing style] for me ingame.
have to note that the scroll wheel is probably the best I ever know of for bunny-hopping in CS1.6 and etc.

Xai - Like everything about the weight, LoD, CPI and probably the best build quality I've ever feel in mouse..the sensor was kinda strage..and I didn't like the shape too much - The right side of it gives me wrist and overall hand issue [my fingers are set like a plam, but the whole hold is somewhere between the plam and claw.]

lost it precise wheel-scrolling and start to double-clicking after 7-8 months.

DeathAdder 1800 - The build quality always was terrible and the mouse was kinda hard to move in the surfaces, and the LoD was really high that its takes me alot of pain and time to get used to it, the glossy sides was actully more pain and I had to change my whole playstyle to get used to the mouse.
The buttons respond was just LAME, I was doing alot of double click and I have to change the way I was playing to get used to flict shot and have full control about how much I press click1, but When I get used I back to the old-great playstyle.

DeathAdder 3500 - Terrible Build Quality, hard to move in surface even than feet slippery..its just the body of it feels stuck somehow..after I join to this forum I was realized that the issue is common and its beacause of the slim feet.
Somehow, I felt that the Deathadder's buttons was even more mussier than the 1800 one.

The LoD on the 3500 was more terrible and high than 1800 somehow, and after time the LoD of the 3500 come down to 2CD instead of 3CD..and the Fix LoD trick is not working.

The both of the Deathadder's scroll-wheels lost thier precise after some months.

IME3.0 - Almost perfect mouse - I enjoy everything about the shape expet awful build quality, the feet are give me really great friction in the Qck Mass, The scroll wheel is kinda buggy and sometimes I jump for no reason, but I bunny-hopping with it really awesome!

Buttons respond is great, scroll-wheel is buggy and noisy, but really great for FPS and bunny-hopping ingame and side buttons kinda loose - but I kinda get used to it.

Valor - [from whats currectly known] seems to have solid build-quality [3 layrs or something like this], great switch, and the sensor "on paper" is one of the best on markets, but it have positive accel [I know its not noticeable, but the fact is exist is really annoying and Bothersome).

Ikari Laser - Tried it in store and played with it some..was really nice..the feel was OK and the sensor also, But I want something better and not buying it after playing some COD4 in store.

MIONIX 5000 - Held it and it was really nice and build quality was solid, the shape is perfect but pinky-place is not long enough for me, not bought in the end.

Perfect Mouse for me will be Kinzu [or any shape that simmilar to Xai without the right buttons] with the scroll wheel of the Mx518 and the respond of the Xai and the weight of the Xai/3.0 and LoD of Xai/3.0 And A3090/DeathAdder-1800cpi's sensor.

Well, fortunately (or unfortunately!) Razer deathadder 1800dpi was my first gaming mouse that I bought about 3 years back and still so happy with it that I do not want to try anything else ! It fits my hand perfectly and all the buttons are effortless for me!
I tried out a few other mouses that belonged to my buddies (I think a logitech one, a microsoft one - cannot remember models) and none felt as good in my hand as the deathadder did. I suppose I am sticking with it!

Do you throw your mice around when losing in games? So many of you had your mice die on you I never ever had one of my mice die on me
post #19 of 27
I've had the g15, used it for about 3-4 years and got the lachesis. Then like a year later my friend bought me the Mamba for my b-day.

All three mice I've never had a problem with. Only reason why I wanted teh lachesis was for the higher DPI

CSS is the only game that will make me abuse a mouse. Sometimes I dont even know why I play it.
