I don't care if it's redundant. That's irrelevant. Intel is making quad channel available in their next enthusiast chipset. It doesn't matter if it's "redundant" or if it doesn't bring any big differences in performance, it matters because they're setting and adopting a new standard. Which is something AMD just doesn't seem to do.
You don't know what you're talking about, you don't know what a musket is. As for smooth bore being redundant, what do you think a shot gun is?

As for staying on topic, it was you who tried to use muskets as an anology.
It was also you who was advocating the use of triple channel ram in AMD boards... until you found out that actually quad channel is available, now you want that instead! PMSL
