Good size for my use

Thread Starter
I will be installing the following on my SSD (Budget $220)

I am running a p67 sabertooth so any info on how it will work with that will be nice or if there are know problems

Windows 7 Home Prem 64bit
Aim
Skype
Teamspeak
Microsoft Office
Windows live mail

What size will work for me?

How will Windows mail be on ssd? Will it fill up the SSD fast because of other features or once mail is deleted ill be alright?

Temp files i heard from another post that trim is there to help with temp files.

You could easily fit that requirement on a 64 GB SSD without any other considerations.

64g would be fine. For that stuff, with updates over the years. I got a 120gb to be safe. With $220 budget look into the Intel 510 series 120gb

I was going to go with the Corsair 600T but they didnt have the side window out yet. So I went with this. Its a super cold case. AP fans are amazing. I have no temp issues at all. Love this case. Would like to have the 600T but...............

I'm seeing $270 for those Intel 510s. Far cry from a $220 budget.

OP: The Intel 320 120 gb retails for about $220. It should be as fast as the SF-1200 drives from last year with better reliability. Any SF-1200 drive should be about the same price.

Going to be hard to find a next-gen 120gb drive for that price, most are 270-300. (crucial m4, intel 510, and vertex 3). The Agility 3 is about 250, and 230 after rebate on newegg if you want to look at it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-726-_-Product
