What would be a better choice?

Thread Starter
I was thinking of upgrading my video card to radeon hd 6870 or gtx 560 ti (because my gpu usage is like almost 100% when gaming)(also high temp= loud fan noise). Curently using gtx 260 oc to 726/1550/1325 using precision.

And the monitor im using right now is samsung led 720p at 1360x768.

Or should i just waite untill whole new build.

Having used both a Sapphire 6870 and an MSI GTX560Ti Twin Frozr in identical computers, I'd strongly recommend the GTX 560. Better framerates, MUCH quieter, cooler and significantly more overclock friendly . Great value, just get one .

Ive had my GTX 560 Ti for a few weeks now and Im very happy with it. Its a nice gaming card.

Depends on if price matters to you. The 6870 is cheaper than the 560Ti but the 560Ti performs 10% better and offers some features unavailable to AMD cards (like CUDA and PhysX). Just a matter of what you want to do with it...
