so... you like the travesty that is windows mobile? Or are you a mindless apple drone? The laggy sloppy mess that is blackberry?
IE and Safari are jokes, FF has out"grown" its usefulness and is a fat lazy bloated man-child of a browser. Opera is about as practical as running linux for a gaming rig.
Guess you like one of those too eh?
Based on previous statements, your opinion on chrome OS is invalid.
Don't like my opinion unbacked by any facts? Well I've got the same argument for you.

It's for when you just need to check email or facebook or watch a video or whatever. If you spend any time with ChromeOS you'll find it's almost impossible to get any serious work done. The cloud apps available are too limited, the ergonomics suck, and it's slow to load anything, especially with a bad internet connection.
If there's one place that the desktop will keep its dominance it's as a machine for doing serious work. So here we have a desktop machine, that runs an OS that's worthless for doing anything serious. That is called a fail. Because they're using ChromeOS for something it isn't good for.
Why would you pay out the nose for this ChromeOS desktop, plus a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, when you could get a Google netbook? It's completely pointless.
But thank you for assuming, Stealth Pyros.
Umm.. Because some people don't want to sit hunching over their desk squinting at their netbook when they can have an equally small "desktop" with a more desk-friendly form factor hiding behind a nice big monitor with a full sized keyboard?
And you do realize that google is gunning for the average home user consumer here right? This is neither for PC gamers nor professionals who rely on their computers. Ask yourself this, between your mother, your next door neighbor, and your best friend's sister, how many of them do more than youtube facebook twitter and the occasional word processing? How many of them have a desktop in their house? How many would rather that desktop be tiny and easy on the eyes and easier to use so they didn't have to keep asking you to fix it for them?
